The TV too will have its share of pie.Reality shows will take a backseat and family-saops will take a break( thankfully though).It's time for " Best 10 Romantic Songs Ever" or " Best On-screen couples" ( which SRK-Kajol will win handsdown year after year). Channels like Aaj Tak will go gaga over Abhi-Ash and its headlines will feature ' How Abhi-Ash got Fixed,Got a Life and Got wild!!' and stuffs like that.
Novelty shops and online retailers will go on a frenzy today. Love is a good business to stake ur money, a guaranteed bullish run. Even if it fails u have those " I am sorry" cards" to invest in. The love-Sensex never plummets.
For cynics like me it will be like every other day outta the bland 365 days .But,I am not complaining.If its not important to me then it doesn't mean it will be to others.Nothing to do with my virility though!!! It's just that I feel this day is over-hyped phenomenon.Why picking out one day? Why not the other 364 days? Don't other days count? Does it not matter if u present someone flowers on 1st April.Oh!yes its a wrong day to do that! Gimme a break!!!

Wats wrong in falling in love...?? its no sin. Yeah agreed tht its become too commercial... but how this day is spl... for ppl to knw... they really have to fall in love....
well,well to be honest I was expecting ur comment,,not that this post was a teaser for u....well i am not against V day and i don't err ppl that they fall in love wat i don't like the xtra attention made with this day...i bet if u ask any college goer when is the world health day or as a matter of fact the b'day of the father of nation they will pretend thinking hard and give a stupid answer..but ask them whwn is the V day or Rose day and pat comes the answer....that speaks volumes for the point i am making
Alright it seems that it was to be expected outta you... not that what ur saying is wrong...but dont you think that by doing the anti v day thingy and then the moral policing thingy, ppl are actually making a hue and cry over nothing so much. I mean- y cant v celebrate this day like we do all other things. Its just another day wherein we are celebrating LOVE. Cuoples and otherwise. I am sure if the name of saint would hv been some baba in India, it would be a gezzeted holiday....
come on karma,diz kinda thots frm a chap like u.ppl always go after the buzz n glamour.whn thrs an awarness program say on pollution(SD paper is still doin the rounds in my head);ppl really dont like 2 be involved bcoz it's boring.tht's why if u wanna create awareness mix it with a bit of gloss n glamour,it'll b a hit.
V day is hit bcoz its in tune wid the youngsters.why v day is an economic success bcoz its related to ppl's lives..their feelings.thy want to spend on somebody they luv very much.on earth day we can hav debates,quizes and seminars but c'mon we cannot send cards to each other sayin 'happy earth day'..
